Women in Aviation International is a nonprofit organization with a mission to support and advance women in various aviation career paths and interests. The membership base is diverse, encompassing professionals such as astronauts, corporate pilots, maintenance technicians, air traffic controllers, and more.

The organization offers a range of resources throughout the year to empower women in aviation fields and to inspire young women to explore aviation careers. Additionally, Women in Aviation International conducts educational programs for educators, industry professionals, and youth both nationally and globally. Notably, one of the latest initiatives is the Girls in Aviation Day program tailored for girls aged 8 to 17.
